The fill material of strip brushes is mounted in a metal extrusion which can be fitted into special holders or grooves. In general they are used for sealing of gaps, windows, doors and gates of all kinds against dust, draught, water, light, heat and noise. Certainly they are also adequate for transporting, guiding and braking of sensitive objects and cardboards.
Sealing brushes are available in many forms and with a wide variety of profiles. These profiles can also be used as mounting flanges, for example in a self-adhesive design. Sealing brushes are used for sealing of passages and sliding doors to protect against dust, draughts, water, light, heat and noise. They are also used to transport, guide and halt sensitive workpieces or cardboard boxes.
Special versions of strip brushes bent in cup- or ring shape can also be manufactured without problems. Particularly the ring shape is perfect for protecting shafts, threaded spindles and crank drives against dust, chips or oil mist. They seal reliably also in cases involving vibrations, high rotation speeds and complex shaft shapes. Cup-shaped strip- and sealing brushes are becoming increasingly important for cleaning sandblasting devices and extractor hoods. Although we only showed the most common shapes here above we also produce complex special versions on request.
