Strip and Sealing Brushes
No other brush type is as versatile as R.I.B. strip and sealing brushes. Our brushes have the characteristic of adapting flexibly to a surface and keeping it completely sealed. In the past, the brushes had to be moved. Today, rigidly mounted brushes keep moving parts clean conveniently and in a straightforward manner, such as threaded spindles. The adaptability of the bristles compensates for any surface irregularities or height differences. At the same time, it is also possible to achieve the opposite effect with these brushes. With hard, resistant bristles, an aggressive brushing effect can be achieved.
Strip Brushes - Standard types
The bristles of strip brushes are fitted in a metal backing tape. This allows the brushes to be mounted by means of holders or inserted into grooves. For example, as replacements for special circular and roller brushes.
All standard types are supplied in a length of 1.000 mm. We can supply seperate holders for fixing our strip brushes type 25 and type 40.
Strip Brushes - Special types
Our special types consist of 10 types of strip brushes with metal backing widths from 1,8 mm to 13,5 mm, which we can produce in a large range of variations.
You can choose fill materials like natural bristles and hair, plant fibres and synthetic filaments.
Sealing Brushes with steel profiles - Standard types
Our sealing brushes are available in many forms and with a wide variety of profiles. These profiles can also be used as mounting flanges, for example in a self-adhesive design, or fixed by screws or by welding.
As our standard types which are available from stock we chose our most demanded sealing brushes concerning the trim heights and overall lengths.
Sealing Brushes with steel profiles - Special types
Our sealing brushes are available in many forms and with a wide variety of profiles. These profiles can also be used as mounting flanges. The special types consist of 11 types of sealing brushes which we can produce in a large range of variations on your request.
You can choose fill types like natural bristles and hair, plant fibres and synthetic filaments.
Sealing Brushes with aluminium profiles - Standard types
These types of brushes are particularly versatile in the way in which they can be mounted and in which they harmonise visually.
11 standard types of sealing brushes with aluminium profiles are available from stock, filled with synthetic filaments of polyamide (PA6), polypropylene (PP) and soft horse hair (mane hair MAH).
Sealing Brushes with aluminium profiles - Special types
In addition to the versatility of 11 particular types of aluminium profiles they can be supplied anodized resp. plastic coated in RAL colours on your request.
We call as special types our 11 types of sealing brushes which we can produce in a big range of variations on your request.
Sealing Brushes with plastic profiles - Standard types
These brush types are especially versatile to mount and visually adaptable. The core material is PVC, resistant to acids and alcalines and suitable for temperatures from -40°C to +60°C.
We deliver our standard types from stock in 15 different profile types, filled with synthetic filaments of polyamide (PA6) and polypropylene (PP).
Sealing Brushes with plastic profiles - Special types
Our special types of sealing brushes consist of 16 particular plastic profiles which we can supply in a comprehensive range of variations.
The two constructions of sealing brushes are strip brush construction and punched brush construction. Depending on the fill material you can choose a fill density of high EA1, medium EA2 or low EA3.
Strip Brushes - Special shape, fill outwards
R.I.B.-strip brushes with metal backing tape have a big advantage over other brush constructions with rigid plastic bodies. This is because they can be formed to ring brushes with a diameter of 12 mm and with a bore of 5 mm up to the biggest diameter of 2.000 mm with an inward diameter of 1.000 mm.
The strip brushes in arch form cannot only be produced in half circle form, but also in every other separation form (for example 45°). The larger the dimensions the better multiple brush segments can be mounted around the perimeter.
Strip Brushes - Special shape, fill inwards
As you are able to receive the strip brush with the fill facing outwards, it is no problem for R.I.B. to produce the same brushes with the fill facing inwards. Even with these brushes you have a dimensional range that cannot be reached with any other brush construction.
The strip brushes in arch form cannot only be produced in half circle form, but also in every other separation form (for example 45°). The larger the dimensions the better multiple brush segments can be mounted around the perimeter.
Strip Brushes - Cup form
The strip brushes in cup form are also an all-purpose brush type.
For special tasks we offer the dimensions from 20 mm to 1000 mm and through that cover a wide spectrum of applications.
Sealing Brushes - Cup form
Our sealing brushes with steel profile can also be formed like the strip brushes. The dimensions range from a diameter of 40 mm to the diameter of 1000 mm and therefore cover a wide spectrum of applications.
We offer you the following selection criterias:
- All fill material like natural bristles and hair, plant fibres and synthetic filaments.
- As backing material we use galvanised steel and stainless steel (1.4301, 1.4571) tapes.
The same possibilities are available for the production of strip brushes in arch form however not only in semi circles but also in other pitch forms.
